We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. As for tips...basically try what Blahhoc said.
I'm still working on it...so my tip would be: More curves...try make everything a bit rounder...you don't have to change you're style for that...just add a few more curves in the right places than it's fine
